Workshop #1: REBT BASICS

Monday evening 7:30PM – 9PM, Jan. 24, 2021

  • Understand the basic principles of REBT.
  • Describe the difference between rational and irrational beliefs.
  • Learn to identify healthy and unhealthy negative emotions.
  • Understand its functions as being both an effective therapeutic approach and also a way of life.

Workshop #2: THE HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT AND UNIQUE ELEMENTS OF REBT

Monday evening 7:30PM – 9PM, Jan. 31, 2022

  • Learn the history and development of REBT.
  • Describe aspects of the life of Albert Ellis that contributed to the formation of REBT.
  • Understand how the development of REBT differs from that of other approaches.
  • Understand the REBT elements that set it apart from other cognitive approaches. 23, 6 – 7:30 p.m

Workshop #3: THE TOOL S AND TECHNIQUE S OF REBT

Monday evening 7:30PM – 9PM, Feb. 7th, 2022

  • Learn Cognitive tools and techniques of REBT.
  • Learn Behavioral tools and techniques of REBT. 
  • Learn Emotive tools and techniques of REBT. 
  • Understand the ABCDE Framework for reducing and eliminating disturbing emotions.

Workshop#4: TRANSFORMING AND HEALING ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, SUICIDAL 

IDEATION AND OTHER DEBILITATING EMOTIONS

Monday evening 7:30PM – 9PM, March 7, 2022

  • Understand Irrational Beliefs contributing to the creation of anxiety.
  • Understand Irrational Beliefs contributing to the creation of depression
  • Understand Irrational Beliefs contributing to the creation of rage, shame and

      guilt. 

  • Learn the ways to transform such debilitating emotions into constructive and

       life-enhancing emotions

Workshop #5: REBT FOR INDIVIDUALS , COUPLES , CHILDREN AND GROUPS

Monday evening 7:30PM – 9PM, March 14, 2022 

  • Understand the main elements of REBT Group Therapy.
  • Describe main elements of REBT therapy for Individuals.
  • Describe main elements of REBT therapy for Couples.
  • Describe main elements of REBT therapy for Children.

Workshop #6: PIVOTAL ASPECTS OF REBT THERAPY: THE ROLE OF THE THERAPIST, THE CLIENT AND CHALLENGE S FORADVANCED PRACTITIONERS

  • Learn Pivotal Aspects of REBT Therapy.
  • Describe the Role of the Therapist in REBT Therapy.
  • Understand the Role of the Client in REBT Therapy.
  • Learn the ways of attending to challenges in REBT Therapy.
